The challenge: Enable HR recruiters and others involved in the talent acquisition process to effectively use a newly implemented recruitment system.
Additional constraints:
3 week timeline
Captivate 8 had bugs that resulted in significant rework
System was not finalized until the last moment
The system was blank, requiring tedious data creation
The design: A series of comprehensive training materials, including tutorial videos, job aids, and system documentation. The final materials were comprehensive, detailed, user-friendly, and well-received.
My contribution:
Stakeholder Management: Consulted with the internal client team to understand their needs and objectives. Managed all communication and review cycles throughout the duration of the project.
Project Management: Managed all aspects of the project, including QA for all modules, actioning feedback, and ensuring timely launch in collaboration with clients.
Data Creation: Developed several detailed fake profiles to populate the new recruitment system. Alternated between recording applicant and recruiter sides, pushing fake candidates through the process.
Technical Writing: Created 207 pages of system documentation.
eLearning: Published video-based training modules.
